Old El Paso Green Chiles-CLOSED

It’s almost time for the Super Bowl and that means snacks! You can do something a little different this year by using Old El Paso Green Chiles, which add great flavor but you don’t have to worry about them being hot.  You can use them in just about anything and it tastes so good.  They come in 4.5 and 7 oz. cans, are fat free and have only 10 calories per serving.

We always plant green chiles in our garden every year and use them in everything we are cooking.  They add a good flavor that everyone enjoys.  It’s nice that we can use green chiles year round by picking up some Old El Paso green chiles in the store.  Here is a tasty recipe from the Betty Crocker website:

Green Chile Dip
1 1/2 cups sour cream

1/2 cup mayo
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1/4 teaspoon garlic salt
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon paprika
1 cup cheddar cheese- shredded
1 can Old El Paso Green Chiles (4.5 oz.)
Tortilla Chips

In medium bowl, mix all ingredients except cheese, chiles and tortillas.  Stir in cheese and chiles.  Cover and refrigerate for 2 to 4 hours.  Serve with tortillas.

NOTE:  You can get a coupon for $0.55 off your next purchase of green chiles HERE.
